Expert Puppy Training

An Exciting Weekend Ahead.

On Saturday our Shadowquest Working Dog Display Team will be making the long trip from North Wales down to the Highclere estate. On Sunday and Monday we will be performing at the Highclere Country Show. I am really looking forward to this especially as this is our first working dog display of the season.

My plan this show season is to gradually include Kali in the display. Kali is still a puppy, although a rather large one now! This means she isn’t physically developed enough to do any controlled jumping or engage in exercises which could cause issue to her physical development. This limits what she can do however i will still be able to include her.

The great thing about going to the shows is that it also presents a perfect opportunity to practice and train with lots of distractions. This is something i will definitely be taking advantage of both during the displays and also throughout my time at the show itself.

Well,i am really excited but I’ve got my fingers crossed everything goes according to plan, it’s always a bit scary the first display of a season never mind it being such a big show!!

If anyone is at the show please come and say hello. We will be performing in the main arena unfortunately i do not know the performance times yet.
