Over the last few weeks Kali and I have literally toured from one end of the country to the other and even across the Channel to the Channel Islands!
It has been hectic but filled with lots of laughs and fun times. I always feel honoured when we perform at an event and this certainly was the case when we were invited to Guernsey.
The Show in Guernsey was mid week and followed a fab time spent performing up in Scotland. We started our Guernsey adventure by traveling to Portsmouth on the Monday. As the ferry was 9am the following morning it meant locating a dog friendly park and staying there in the horsebox.
The next day i was so excited but mixed with it anxious about the ferry crossing. None of my dogs had traveled on a ferry before but luckily we couldn’t of had a smoother trip the weather was fantastic and the sea calm!! I was allowed to go and check on them and all were perfectly OK totally unfazed by the whole experience.
The show itself was on the West of the island located in a stunning location opposite a beautiful bay. Our displays took place in the afternoon which mean’t we had plenty of time to walk and explore. I’m not sure which Kali enjoyed most- performing or exploring.
The time we had went too quickly and i really wish we had been able to extend the time we spent on Guernsey , but that weekend we had a display booked in Yorkshire.
Everything about Guernsey was brilliant, the people , the weather, the scenery- It was very ‘dog friendly’ and i have left determined to return for longer.
